A small French bronze cannon

A bronze tablecannon, perfectly suitable for a gentleman’s desk.

Excellent patina and dated 1882.

Description

Table cannons were made for several purposes. To open a fancy party, salute, as timekeeper or as presentationmodel.

This finely made example is casted in bronze and bares the initials ‘L.A’
The cannon is actually functioning and dated 1882. The touch hole is open and so is the smooth bore barrel.

Condition: Excellent, great original patina and fully functioning.
